Pecan Chocolate Toffee Bars

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter (room temp)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 pkg semi sweet chips
• 1 cup pecans

Directions

• Heat oven to 350 degrees
• Generously coat 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan with cooking spray
• Beat together butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla until well blended
• Mix in flour and salt
• Press mixture into an even layer in bottom of pan
• Bake for 20 minutes
• Remove to wire rack and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips + spread with metal spatula
• Cut into bars
