Ingredients
- 1 precooked ham, spiral cut (hickory smoked, if possible, but not mandatory)
- ~3/4 cup of your favorite BBQ rub
- Honey or BBQ sauce (optional)
Directions
- Pour a liberal amount of prepared yellow mustard over the ham
- Apply BBQ rub onto the ham making a paste (don’t forget the flat side)
- Put ham in smoker with ~3 oz. of hickory wood
- Smoke at 230 degrees F for 3 hrs.
- (Optional) If desired, apply BBQ sauce or Honey approximately 2.5 hours into the smoke to give a shiny glazed look and a bit more flavor
