Fun and easy angel food cake dessert. One of mom’s standards for big parties.
Ingredients
- 1 Angel Food Cake (store bought or homemade)
- 1 Lg box of Chocolate Pudding
- 1 Small box of Butterscotch Pudding
- 1 Container of Cool Whip or 2 Cups Whipped Cream
- Sliced Almonds or any kind of nuts
Directions
- Tear up cake and place in 9×13 in. pan
- Cook puddings as directed and mix together. Pour while hot over cake. Cool and frost with Cool Whip or Cream. Sprinkle with nuts.
You can use instant pudding if you are in a hurry. Add 1/2 tsp to whipped cream to keep it from getting watery from sitting for a day or two.
I have used chocolate and banana pudding and mixed sliced bananas with cake. Good, too.
