Keto Caramel Sauce

Great over ice-cream, fruit, nuts, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 1/2 Cup allulose sweetener
  • 1/2 Cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 – 3/4 Tsp kosher salt (if not using salted butter and want salted flavor)
  • 1 Tsp blackstrap molasses

Directions

  1. Melt butter in saucepan over medium/low heat, stirring every so often, until fully browned (~5 minutes).
  2. Add allulose, heavy cream and salt (if using), stirring until just combined.
  3. Add molasses and stir briefly until just combined
  4. Simmer over very low heat for 15 minutes (20 if you want thicker). Sauce should be sticky and think.
  5. Pour into glass container and refrigerate
