One batch (makes 2 ½ cups)
Ingredients
- 1 12 oz bag of cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/4 ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp orange juice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine cranberries, sugar, cinnamon, allspice in a baking dish. Cover and back until sugar melts and mixture bubbles, stirring once (about 55 mins).
- Uncover and bake until liquid is syrupy (about 10 mins).
- Remove from oven. Immediately add orange juice and stir. Let cool to room temperature.
- Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
Note: Can be made up to 4 days ahead of time.
Optional: Add a bit more cinnamon, dried orange peel or a dash of nutmeg.
