Chili sauce, garlic and basil add flavor to these moist chicken thighs or breasts.
Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce
- 1/3 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
- 10 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 1/2 dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Directions
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine all ingredients (except chicken) and mix.
- Remove 1/3 cup for basting (optional) and refrigerate
- Add chicken to bag; seal and refrigerate at least 2hrs.
- Grill covered skin down, over medium heat for 20 minutes (baste with reserved marinade if saved).
- Turn chicken and grill 10 min more, basting frequently.
