Chili Sauce Chicken

Chili sauce, garlic and basil add flavor to these moist chicken thighs or breasts.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce
  • 1/3 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 1/2 dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Directions

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine all ingredients (except chicken) and mix.
  2. Remove 1/3 cup for basting (optional) and refrigerate
  3. Add chicken to bag; seal and refrigerate at least 2hrs.
  4. Grill covered skin down, over medium heat for 20 minutes (baste with reserved marinade if saved).
  5. Turn chicken and grill 10 min more, basting frequently.
