A simple recipe for great biscuits.
Ingredients
- 2 cups AP flour
- 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 10 Tbsp. cold butter cut into small pieces
- 3/4 cup milk (plus 1-2 Tbs if needed)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400*
- Combine dry ingredients and whisk,
- Add butter and blend into flour until crumbly. You can use a food processor, mixer, a pastry cutter, or by hand using your fingers.
- Drop biscuits (approx. 1.5 Tbsp.) onto a parchment lined cookie sheet
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Note: I usually make a double batch and freeze them for later. Easy to reheat, place in toaster oven and toast.
