Simple Drop Biscuits

A simple recipe for great biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups AP flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 10 Tbsp. cold butter cut into small pieces
  • 3/4 cup milk (plus 1-2 Tbs if needed)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400*
  2. Combine dry ingredients and whisk,
  3. Add butter and blend into flour until crumbly. You can use a food processor, mixer, a pastry cutter, or by hand using your fingers. 
  4. Drop biscuits (approx. 1.5 Tbsp.) onto a parchment lined cookie sheet
  5. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Note: I usually make a double batch and freeze them for later. Easy to reheat, place in toaster oven and toast.
