Homemade Panko

Make your own Panko with any bread you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf white bread
  • herbs (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  2. Remove crusts from the bread
  3. Gently crumble into coarse crumbs with your hands or use a food processor
  4. Spread crumbs onto a cookie sheet
  5. Dry breadcrumbs in the oven 7-10, stirring after 5 minutes
  6. Cool completely and store in a cool dry place for up to 3 months
