Make your own Panko with any bread you like.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf white bread
- herbs (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees
- Remove crusts from the bread
- Gently crumble into coarse crumbs with your hands or use a food processor
- Spread crumbs onto a cookie sheet
- Dry breadcrumbs in the oven 7-10, stirring after 5 minutes
- Cool completely and store in a cool dry place for up to 3 months
