Pumpkin Bread

Pumpkin bread in a traditional white bread loaf.

Ingredients

  • 320mL (320g) Milk
  • 1 Large Egg (50g) (beaten)
  • 3-4 Tbsp pumpkin puree (add more)
  • 545g Flour
  • 36g (3 Tbsp) Sugar
  • 10g (2 tsp) Salt
  • 35g (2-1/2 Tbsp) unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice (can cut to 1.5 to reduce spiciness)
  • 7g (2 tsp) Rapid Rise Yeast
  • Optional – 80g of mini chocolate chips (your choice on type)

Directions

  1. Put ingredients in bread machine baking pan in order listed (except chocolate chips if using)
  2. Set Course to 1 (or Basic White Bread), set crust level to light, press START
  3. When ‘Add timer’ alerts, add the chocolate chips if using
